ALL COACHES MAKE SURE PLAYERS:

1. PLAY HARD AT ALL TIMES

2. PLAY FOR EACH OTHER

3. PLAY TOGETHER

4. HAVE FUN AND PLAY WITH ENTHUSIASM

MAKE SURE THAT WE COVER THESE THINGS TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY.

FOUR ASPECTS OF THE GAME

1. MENTAL- (MAKE SURE TEAMS ARE READY TO PLAY) HAVE THE PLAYERS STAY TOGETHER AT ALL TIMES AND FOCUS ON WHAT WE HAVE TO DO AS A PROGRAM. GET THE PRIOR TO GAMES AND GET THE FOCUSED ON THE TASK AT HAND

2. TECHNICAL- PLAYERS BE COACHABLE AND TAKE YOUR COACHING WITH GOOD ATTITUDE. COACHES LIFT YOUR PLAYERS TO A HIGHER LEVEL OF PLAY AND EXPEC THE BEST. TALK AND WALK THE GAME. TEACH THEM TO PLAY THE GAME THE RIGHT WAY. DO US!!!!

3. EMOTIONAL- PLAY WITH YOUR HEART AND ENTHUSIASM INSPIRING ONE ANOTHER IN EVERY WAY. PLAY EVERY GAME LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW

4. SPIRITUAL- WE ARE THE FBC FAMILY. BE OF ONE SPIRIT AND THAT OF THE SPIRIT OF CHAMPIONS. LOOK OUT FOR ONE ANOTHER AT ALL TIMES (COACHES, PARENTS AND PLAYERS). ANY DIVISION WILL BE CUT OFF. OUR SPIRIT AND ATTITUDE WILL DETERIMINE OUR SUCCESS SO WALK IN THE SPIRIT OF GREATNESS.

HAVE FUN, STAY TOGETHER, AND COVER ONE ANOTHER AS A FAMILY

“WHERE ATHLETES TRAIN TO BECOME CHAMPIONS”

FBC Southeast Elite / Elementary/Middle/High School Curriculum

This is a year round program that prepares each student athlete with preseason training, in-season skill sharpening, post-season refinement and competitive travel team play.  We adhere to the policy that 95% of the game is played without the basketball, and for a player to keep advancing they must develop an understanding of the team game.  We will evaluate each player’s current skill level and design a program accordingly.

 Preseason Training    August – October
·      Academic and Athletic Goal Setting Conference
·      Speed, Agility, & Quickness & Strength & Conditioning
·      Basketball Skills Training (Shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding, defending, moving with & without the ball)
·      Fall League Play

In-Season Skill Sharpening    October – February
·      Guards & Wings: All aspects of Guard Play
·      Forwards & Combo Players: Versatility
·      Post Players: Dominating in the Paint
·      Academic Progress Assessment

Post Season Refinement & Competitive Travel Team Play     March – July
·      Travel Team Tournament Play (AAU)
·      National Exposure Events & Recruiting (Coast to Coast Recruiting Service)
·      Evaluation Camps (Coast2Coast Girls Basketball)
·      Position Specific Training Camps & Clinics
·      Team Skill Development (Two Person & Three Person Play)
·      Academic Progress Assessment (The Final Tally)
